Leonard L. Linn, 82, of 300 N. Washington St., died at 7:55 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 5, 2004)
at Miller's Merry Manor, after an extended illness. He was born March 18, 1922, in Cromwell,
to James D. Rocky and Ethel M. Linn. He married Katheryn L. Kehr. She died May 29, 1994.
He is survived by two sons, Steven R. (Debbie) Linn of Goshen and Robert A. (Julie) Linn
of Elkhart; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his siblings.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. today in the veterans section
at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Members of Goshen VFW Post 985, DAV Post 15, and
American Legion Post 30 will conduct military honors. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home,
1911 S. Main St., Goshen, is handling arrangements.
Mr. Linn lived most of his life in the area. He was in the United States Army Infantry, where
he served in Germany and France. He worked for the city of Goshen for 32 years, mostly in
the water department. He was a member of the Goshen VFW Post 985 and he enjoyed
fishing and gardening.
Memorials may be given to VFW Post 985.

Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa. He was born March 18, 1922, in Cromwell, to James David Rocky and Ethel Mae (Linn). He married Katheryn L. Kehr. She died May 29, 1994. He spent most of his life in the area, was a veteran of the Army and had served in the
infantry in Germany and France. He was formerly employed with the city of Goshen for
32 years, most of that time at the Water Department. He was a member of the Goshen Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 985, and enjoyed
gardening and fishing. He is survived by two sons, Steven R. (Debbie) Linn, Goshen, and Robert A. “Bob” (Julie) Linn, Elkhart; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. There will be no visitation or viewing.A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.
Saturday at Oakridge Cemetery, in the Veterans section. Members of the Goshen Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 985, Disabled American Veterans
Post No. 15, and the American Legion Post No. 30 will provide military honors. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 985.
