Von Johannes Brill liegen mir nur wenige Daten vor. Auf der Seite 1 des Kirchenbuches von Veldenz steht: "Anno 1650, nachdem die Catholischen mit ihren Religions-Executis Jahres vorher aus hiesiger Pfarrei ausgewiesen, die Evangelisch-lutherischen aber dann wieder eingewiesen worden, wie sie anno regolat 1624 gewesen, ist Pfarrer allhier gewesen H. Johannes (der Rest ist in einem großen Tintenfleck verschwunden)". Seite 11 steht dann: "Anno 1650 Sind getauft worden von Johannes Brill(i/o/e?), Pfarrer". Die Eintragungen unter dieser Überschrift beginnen aber mit dem Jahr 1646! 1653 wird sein Sohn geboren. Im KIBU Mülheim steht unter Nr. 14 (1650): J. Briell, Pfarrer zu Veldenz, tauft (s)einen Sohn Philipp Conrad. 1654 ist Georg Nicolaus Honsdorff Pfarrer in Veldenz.
