[Ahlf _all.GED] [JW Claus Ahlf.FTW] !BIRTH-CHRISTENING-PARENTS: Evangelical Lutheran Church records; taufe (christening) register #5, 1807-1843, pg 200, #11; father is Claus AHLF, mother is Anna Margaretha, born LAU; records in Burg, Dithmarschen, Schleswig Holstein, Germany, godparents (pate(n)) listed as Johann AHLF, Claus MOLLER and an unreadable one; copied at Church office, October, 1995 by June WALLING, Sunnyvale, Calif. I visited the church and was allowed to look at the original books. They could not be photo copied, but I was allowed to photograph them. Many of the three or four books I saw were indexed. Frau MOLLER was very helpful and had marked several of the births and christenings (taufe) that I was interested in. Before going, a letter was sent to the church saying we would be there and hoped to view the records.
