Charles Schuldt Jr. EAST MOLINE — Funeral services for Charles E. “Skip” Schuldt Jr., 63, of East Moline, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Heritage Wesleyan Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Andalusia Cemetery, Andalusia, Ill. Mr. Schuldt died suddenly Monday, February 27, 2012, in Chicago, from cardiac arrest. Memorials may be madeto Heritage Wesleyan Church, Juvenile Diabetes, or American Cancer Society. Skip was born August 23, 1948, in Moline, the son of Charles and Christine Schmiers Schuldt Sr. He married Pamela Yeager on September 17, 1966, in Blandinsville, Ill. He was a journeyman sheet metal worker. He had worked for John Deere Experimental, East Moline, and owned Skip Schuldt General Contractor, Inc. He had been working in the Chicago area for the last 25 years. Skip was the first open heart patient at Trinity and elected to be a tissue/bone donor. Skip was a very giving man who loved his family and friends. Although he worked in Chicago, he never missed a family function. The time hecherished most was spent with his seven grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing and had been a pilot. If it bounced, rolled, or had wheels, he loved it. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Pam Schuldt, East Moline; sons, Tray (Barb) Schuldt, Moline, Dewey (Lisa) Schuldt, and Chad (Joddi) Schuldt, East Moline; and grandchildren, Eric, Christopher,Dylan, Alexis, Tanner, Keegan, and Baylee. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Joshua. A special thanks to Sergio and Estella Saldana and all his friends in Chicago for the special care they took of Skip. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.vanhoe.com.

Title Die Familien Schmiers und ihre Verwandten
