Wiley Benton MC KINNEY

<p>&nbsp;Wiley Benton McKinney was born 17 Jul 1970 in Collin County, Texas, USA.&nbsp;&nbsp; He was married 1st to Hattie Bradley on 16 Dec 1892 where 1 son, Bryan Fitzhugh McKinney was born on 30 Sep 1896.<br /><br />Bryan failed to reach adulthood as he died on 11 Mar 1908. His Mother had died on 28 Oct 1898.<br /><br />Wiley married again on 1 Apr 1900 to Lulu Ann Klepper. She was born on 30 Jun 1879. This marriage produced 3 children, Collin Benton McKinney was born on 6 Jan 1902. Juanita Valeria McKinney was born on 21 Dec 1903.Mary Wiley McKinney was the 3rd child and was born on 28 Feb1913. <br /><br />1918 was not a good year. Wiley lost his Father on 1 Jan 1918. His Mother also died that same week on 7 Jan 1918. Collin died 24 May 1918.<br /><br />This in effect was too much forWiley. After that he kept much to himself.<br /><br />In the early 40's my family moved in with them. On 7 Sep 1940 my brother was&nbsp; born. This kept things moving.<br /><br />In Dec we were listening to the radio when Pearl Harbor was bombed. My Dad went into the Navy. We were glad when Daddy came home for a visit. In Sep 1944, we had a new arrival. My sister was born.<br /><br />When the warwas over we moved a short distance across McKinney to where we were living when, GraGra, as we called him, had to go to a nursing home. It was there he passed away on 19 Jan 1954.<br /><br />&nbsp;Lulu or Mimi, as we called her, died on 28 Dec 1963.<br /><br /></p>
