BolesÅ‚aw der Tapfere (pol. BolesÅ‚aw I. Chrobry, lat. Boleslaus; * 967; † 17. Juni 1025) war 992-1000 Herzog von Polen, 1003-1004 Herzog von Böhmen und ab 1000 erster König von Polen(eventuell auch erst 1025, kurz vor seinem Ableben); aus der Dynastie der Piasten. Er war ein Sohn Herzogs Mieszko I., aus seiner Verbindung mit Dobrawa, Tochter Herzogs Boleslav von Böhmen und der Bigota.
