William Francis Brockman, 33,of 902 Bath St., died Wednesday in a local
hospital following a brief illness.
A native of Chicago, he came to Santa Barbara last September and was
employed as a service station attendant by a local oil company.
Surviving are a son,William Francis Brockman Jr. of St. Louis; his
stepfather, Max Schlar, and a stepsister, Maxine Schlar, both of Chicago.
The body was being sent today by the Haider Mortuary to Chicago for a
memorial service. Requiem Mass will be celebrated Monday morning in St.
Bede's Church in Ingleside, Ill., with burial following in St. Bede's
Cemetery.
