AGATHA 'AGGIE' CECILIA GORMAN April 23, 1929-January 4, 2014
Aggie was born and raised on a farm near Paxico, Kansas. She was the youngest of eight children of Raymond Joseph and Cecilia Meinhardt Muckenthaler, and their only daughter. Aggie became a bookkeeper at National Biscuit Company, and later excelled in her sales position with Avon. Aggie met her husband, Raymond Charles Gorman, Sr, in Kansas City and married in 1951. They had ten children, two of whom, Donald M. and John M. Gorman, died in infancy.
She is survived by her husband and children, Michael (Linda), James (Yvonne), Janet Robinson (Dan), Kathleen Scandary (Robert), Diane Gillespie (Scott), Patricia Vidrine (Drake), Raymond, Jr. , and Robert (Cecilia); 24 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, two brothers, Cyril Muckenthaler and Raymond Muckenthaler, Jr., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Aggie was a longtime parishioner of Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Overland Park, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Overland Park, KS on Thursday, January 9.
