Verbindung zur Familie Luther - Hinweis auf der Ahnentafel Hilde Daniel: Eine Tochter von Claus Apel heiratete einen Hutmann Claus Luther ausKönigsee (siehe altes Kirchenbuch, Seite 365). Derselbe war ein Nachkomme von Jacob Luther einem Bruder von Dr. Martin Luther. Claus Luther war nach dem Königseer Kirchenbuch Hirte zu Barigau, Jacob Luthers Zimmermanns Sohn, und Martha, Claus Apels Hutmanns zu Herschdorf Tochter.
