Nachrichten: John and Katherina and six children left Fulda around 1885 and settled at Ost, Kansas. In 1897 they moved to Meeker, OK with eleven children. In 1905 they moved to Bainville, Kansas and from there they retired in St. Marks. John's children all lived withing 35 miles of St. Marks except for August and Anne. August went to Burns, Oregon where he was a rancher and forest ranger. Anna and her husband lived at Fredonia, Ks., where they farmed. From Bob Zoglman of Wichita, KS
