TOD: OBIT of Louis J Zipperer - MHTR - from Agnes Birringer 10/94 Louis J Zipperer, 80, of Whitelaw, died Thursday evening at Manitowoc County Hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Reedsville Funeral Home and at 11:30 a.m. at St Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw, the Rev Vincent Putzer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr Zipperer was born Oct 4, 1884 in the town of Cato, son of the late Alois and Mary Wellner Zipperer. He married Elizabeth Meidl, Nov 24, 1915 at St Michael Church. He farmed in the Town of Cato until retirement in 1962 when he moved to Whitelaw. Survivors are the wife, six sons, Arthur and Norbert of Rt 1, Cato, Ray of Weigen, Colo., Clarence and Jerome of Manitowoc and Leroy of Whitelaw; five daughters, Mrs Ed Kohlman, Mrs Henry Franzen and Miss Clara Zipperer of Cato, Mrs John Kocourek of Rt 1, Reedsville, and Mrs Leroy Remiker of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs Anna Reimer of Greenville, Wis., 44 grand-children and three great grandchildren. Four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
