Leonard and Sarah were charter members of the Hampstead Free Baptist Church were Leonard was a deacon from 1801 to 1846. Lived in Wickham parish which included Long Island (at first) and later moved to the mainland. He built
and lived on the farm later owned by George Walker and later still by Percy McKay.
