Studium der Medizin an der Univ. Jena, Dr. med. (et phil. ?) 1675 Dissertation: "Aegram Pleuriticam" (1674) und "De ordine et methodo considerandi tractandique parturientes" (1675); 17.12.1664 Bürger zu Halle,praktischer Arzt und 1700 Stadtphysicus, wohnte am Steintor, später Bürgerstraße Nr. 194 ,... hat auch durch seine glückliche Praxis großen Ruhm erlanget. Davon sonderlich merckwürdig die glückliche Cur, so er 1691 ohnweit Hallean einem Bauernjungen von 16 Jahren, der ein Messer verschluckt und in die 7 Monate lang bey sich behalten, so dann aber glücklich wieder von sich gegeben, verrichtet hat, welche er in einem von ihm edirten Tractätlein unter dem Titel: Der Hällische Messerschlucker ..., beschrieben hat."
