Er war der letzte Addinga und noch minderjährig, als er 1523 die Rechte des Herren von Westerwolde übernahm. Er verlor sie schon 1530 durch Karl von Geldern wieder.
Er erbte Onnema von Blijdeke toe Fraam,1548 baute er das Haus Onnema.
