wrote that the book, The First Hundred Years of Cobb County,

Georgia by Sarah Blackwell Gober Temple, has some information

concerning John Brockman. From this book it appears that John

Brockman came to GA in 1832 and obtained land there in the land

lottery of the Cherokee Nation.

  1. The names of his children were taken from his will (see Brockman

Family Forum, 1 Jan 2002, note posted by Nell Gronberg [John B.

Brockman, will in Cobb County, GA 1880]).

  1. Was he married twice and his second wife was named Elizabeth?
