Phone Mt. Pocono 4751 - May 26.1956 - Kueblers's Mountain Hotel - Tobyhanna, PA. Meine liebe Else! Habe deinen lieben Brief dankend erhalten. Nun muß ich Dir eine traurige Nachricht bringen unser guter Dad Peter ist am 10th May gestorben. Er war 1 woche im Krankenhaus 110 Miles fort von hier. Leider konnten die dort nicht helfen. Er ist an Muttertag beerdigt worden. Die Karten waren noch nicht gedruckt die Du noch bekommst. Damit Du Dich nicht erschreckst, schreibe ich es Dir. Viele Grüße auch an Friedolin und Kinder, besonders an Dich Deine Mutter.
