TOD: OBIT - Joseph J Rathsack - MTHR - Agnes Birringer - August, 1993 Joseph J. Rathsack, 64, of 1314 W. Franklin St., Appleton died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at home. Funeral Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St Mary Catholic Church, Appleton, the Rev. Adam Grill officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Rathsack was born March 27, 1898, in the Town of Franklin. Manitowoc County. He married Elsie Staudinger. He farmed in the Town of Greenville in Outagamie County and also worked at Appleton Coated Paper Co. Survivors include his wife. two daughters. Mrs. Lawrence Matuszak of Hortonville and Mrs James Mullins of Appleton; a son Quinton of Rt. 1 Appleton; three brothers. Walter of Rt 1. Cato, Arthur of Manitowoc and Edward of Shiocton; five sisters, Mrs. Frank Krabbe, Mrs. William Wentz and Mrs Victor Pieper of Milwaukee, Mrs. Joseph Staudinger of Manitowoc and Sister Mary Jude of West Point, Neb., 22 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A brother preceded him in death. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday at Ellenbecker Funeral Home of 1213 N. Appleton St., Appleton, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. by the family and by the Holy Name Society at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
