TOD: Margaret Meidl Sitman - from Agnes Birringer 5/93 Mrs Joseph Sitman, 55, of Rt 2, Cato, died Wednesday afternoon at Manitowoc of a heart attack. She had been shopping and was stricken in the parking area at Ninth and Quay streets about 2 o'clock. Funeral Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Reedsville Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw, the Rev Francis Rose officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs Sitman was born Margaret Meidl, July 11, 1906, in the town of Franklin, daughter of the late Michael and Theresa Meyer Meidl. She was married July 22, 1927, to Joseph Sitman at Whitelaw. They farmed in the Town of Franklin. Her husband preceded her in death April 1, 1957. She was a member of Christian Mothers of St Michael Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Bernard Kostechka of Whitelaw; a son Robert, at home; two sisters, Mrs Louis J Zipperer of Rt. 1, Cato and Mrs Michael Reimer of Rt 1, Whitelaw; three brothers, Louis Meidl of Whitelaw, John of Weyawega and Alphonse of Manitowoc and three grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday, where the Rosary will be recited a 8 p.m.
