Seine Witwe mit drei minderjährigen Söhnen hat bis 1780 weitergeführt und dann ihrem ältesten Sohn Franz Josef König übergeben. Sie selbst heiratete in diesem Jahr Joseph Keller, den Braumeister vom "Bräuhaus", und zog mit ihren noch minderjährigen Söhnen Josef Anton König (geboren 1765) und Johann Georg König (geboren 1769) dorthin. Johann Georg König wurde später der erste "Kronen"-Wirt namens König.
