Møllersøn fra Aller, som kom til Roe mølle = Staksrode Mølle, i Stouby sogn, Vejle amt kort efter 1800.Straksrode Mølle var i slægten eje i ca 100 år, og nævnes som en af landets ældste. PC Ahrenkiel blev stamfader til en stor slægt på Vejle egnen, idet to af børnebørnene (Mariane og Jensine) begge blev gift med lokale fiskere (Bredballe str
and). De fik henholdvis 10 og 12 børn.
