In the year of Christ 1842, on the 24th of February, in the morning at six o'clock died Johannes Knabenschuh, the in wedlock conceived son of the local Burger and master baker Johann Ernst Knabenschuh and his wife Carolina Louisa, nee Zahn, three months and seven days old. Hewas buried quietly on the 26th of February, morning at eleven o'clock in the presence of bell ringer Heinrich Ludwig Rubsamen and the grave digger Philipp Heinrich ..., who besides myself, the first city pastor, signed this protocol.
