Anna became blind, so did her granddaughter. Her great granddaughter has vision problems She was about 5'3" and chunky, with brownish hair, even later in life. She died blind and virtually unknown at the age of 93. Even an Oellrich great granddaughter whose family Anna lived with for the last 15 years of her life, knew really nothing of her. I revealed Annas history to her. She's buried in an unmarked grave. I was told that was due to the Depression. But as far as I'm concerned the Depression has long been over. We only had one picture of her in later years that said on the back Anna Oellerich, not even the correct spelling. So you see, I've only come to know all this in the last couple months and there is a lot I would like to make right, so to speak. It's an odd and sad story to say the least. But it's now starting to straightened out a little bit at a time. And someday Anna will have a marked grave. =)
