In the morning of the 26th of November 1778 Jakub Jarosz went to the stables to distribute some food to the staff. He fell. Blood poured from his nose, throat and ears. He had great difficulty making the few steps back to the house. After two heavy sighs he suffocated from his own blood. His agony lasted less than quarter of an hour. He was buried in the cemetery near the bell tower. He was 67 years old. Before his death he had been healthy in body and mind. He had a wonderful soul.
