On February 5, 1930, he married the former Mabel Mienke. He was a retired farmer and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Dundee. Survivors include his wife; six sons, Marvin of Fond du Lac, LaVerne ofSt. Cloud, Leroy of Lubbock, Texas, and Jerold, Stanley and Richard allof Campbellsport; six daughters, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Meyer of Oakfield,Mrs. Donald (Beverly) Backhaus and Mrs. Richard (Rose Mary) Carey IIIboth of Campbellsport, Mrs. Kenneth (Evelyn) Koepke of Cascade, Mrs. Carl(Judith) Kollmansberger of Eden and Mrs. Gerald (Betty) Gittner ofLomira; 35 grandchildren; three brothers, Clarence of Dotyville, Haroldand Earl both of Fond du Lac; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Engard) Rose ofEden, Mrs. Ella Seibel, Mrs. Florence Sartori, Mrs. Nelita Lueck all ofFond du Lac, WI. He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one daughter.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity LutheranChurch, Dundee. The Rev. William Stuebs will officiate and burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Fond du Lac. Visitation will be after 3 p.m.Sunday at Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, and from 1 p.m. Mondayuntil the time of services.
