Joseph Reitz, a resident of the Town of Forest for the past 66 years,passed away at this morning at 2 oclock at the home ofhis son, Jacob. Mr. Reitz had reached the nvenerable age of 90 years and 8 months. Mr.Reitz was born in Germany, on February 28, 1933 and came to the UnitedStates May 4, 1857. He came directly to Town of Forest where he had sinceresided. His marriage to Miss Anna Krug was solemnized May 14, 1867, whowith two sons, Jacob and Henry of the Town of Forest and two daughters,Mrs. Geo Hinn, of the Town of Taycheetah and Mrs. Otto Pfeifer of theTown of Forest survive. He also leaves one brother George of this city and eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the Jacob Reitz residence Sundayafternoon at 1:30 oclock and at 3 from St. Pauls Lutheran Church. TheRev. H.C. Klingbiel will officiate with internment in Forest Cemetery. Commonwealth Reporter, Fond du Lac, WI - Dated 11-19-1923 Funeral services of Joseph Reitz was held at 1:30 oclock Sunday afternoonat the residence in Forest and at 2 oclock at the Forest Lutheran Church,the Rev. H. Klingbiel officiating. The bearers were: Jacob Reitz, Henry Reitz, George Hinn, Otto Pfeifer, George Reitz,Charles Reitz.
