Born September 14, 1873, in theTown of Forest, he was the son of Jost and Anna Krug Reitz. He wasmarried August 22, 1901 to Emilie Hinn, who died September 1, 1918. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Charles Rhodes, Town of Forest, and oneson, Rudolph on the homestead; one sister, Mrs. Otto Pfeifer, Town ofForest; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He waspreceded in death by his parents, one daughter, one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Pauls LutheranChurch in the Town of Forest with the Rev. Oscar Siegler officiating.Burial will be in Forest Mound Cemetery, Town of Forest. Friends may call at the Bidlingmaier Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday.The body will be moved to the church at 1 p.m. on Sunday to rest in stateuntil the time of services. Oscar Siegler officiated andLoran Schultz was the organist. Pallbearers were: William Hinn, LyleHinn, Ervin Hinn, Roy Hinn, Edward Loehr Jr., Harold Miller. Those attending the services from out of town were from Oshkosh,Plymouth, Maryville, and surrounding areas.
