Paul first married Hilda Bertha Abraham on 6/28/1906 at Immanuel Evan.
Lutheran Church. The witnesses were Friedrich Postier and Lydia
Abraham. Hilda was born on 10/18/1883 and died on 7/16/1956 in Lemon
Grove, California. She is buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in San Diego.
Her parents were Julius Abraham and Ernestine. It was with Hilda that
their three children were born. Paul and Hilda divorced on 2/13/1935 and
Paul then married Mrs. Mary M. Corson (nee Zimmerman) on 10/14/1939. They
were married by Reverend Kielsmeier and Paul was living at 9365
Crestwood. They then separated on 8/3/1941 and then later divorced on
5/l4/l945. Mary's date of birth was 8/14/1890 and date of death was
7/14/1982 (SS# 295-10-8794). She had two children from her first
marriage: William and James Corson. She was a grandmother of 7, great
grandmother of l3, and sister of l0. Her funeral service at at St.
Anthony of Padua Church in Parma, as listed in her obituary. Paul died
on 2/26/1963 in Mentor. The information from the Brunner Funeral Home
(255-3401) showed that Paul's grandchildren were Dan Burgel of Mentor and
Gloria Ward of San Diego. The funeral was held at Advent Lutheran Church
on Lakeshore. Paul is buried at Whitehaven Memorial Cemetery at 615 Som
Center Rd. (442-1400) Lot 642 Grave 4.

Obit states: Paul C. Postier, age 79, 7444 Lakeshore Blvd died in his
sleep at home. The body was discovered by his daughter, Helen L. Burgel
who lives next door. Born in Straussberg, Germany, 4/22/1883, Mr.
Postier lived in Mentor for the past 14 years. Retired cabinet maker, he
helped at the J. Burgel Farm Market since retirement in 1949. Survivors
include another daughter, Mrs. Alma Lessner of LaMesa, CA and son Walter
P. of Paisley FL.
Death certificate states: Paul Carl Postier died on February 26, 1963 at
his residence of 7444 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor, Lake County, Ohio. He was
born April 22, 1883 in Strasburg, Germany, was a cabinet maker, and was
widowed at the time of death. The parents were listed as Ferdinand
Postier and Ernestine Raedtke. He died of coronary occlusion and was
buried at Whitehaven Mem. Gargens in Mayfield Hts., Ohio on March 1,
1963. The informant was Mrs. Helen L. Burgel, Mentor, Ohio, (his
daughter)
