Christian Meyer is Laid to Rest Following Rites.

Elkhart Lake, Wisc. - Funeral services for Christian Meyer, lifelong resident of the town of Russel, who passed away Monday May 11, at St. Nicholas hospital in Sheboygan were held at 10 a.m. last Friday at St. Ann's Catholic Church. The Rev. Clemens kern officiated and interment was in the adjoining church cemetery. Pallbearers were Henry Schmitz, Leo and Edmund Turbs, Ralph Langenfeld, Carl Hoffman and John Freund.

Deceased was born December 17, 1863 in the town of Russell, where he always lived on the farm now operated by his son, Oscar. On February 12, 1895, he married to Miss Mary Ranz, who preceded him in death four years ago.After the death of his wife, he made his home with his children.

Survivors are four sons, Oscar on the homestead, Arthur of New Holstein, Irwin of Milwaukee and Edward of Marinetta, and nine grandchildr en.

Coming from out of town to attend the services were Mrs. John Mayer, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mayer of Chilton, and Mr. and Mrs. Christian Mayer of Milwaukee.

Leters testamentary having been issued to Irvin G. Meyer in the estate ofChristian Meyer, deceased, late of the Town of Russell, in said County:

Notice is hereby given that all claims against the said Christian Meyer, deceased, late of the Town of Russell, in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, must be presented to said County Court at Sheboygan, in said County, onor before the 30th day of November 1942, or be barred; and that all suchclaims and demands will be examined and adjusted at a term of said Courtto be held at the Court House in the City of Sheboygan, in said County, on Tuesday the 1st day of December 1942, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon of said day.
