Irvin had a barbershop for over 20 years prior to his death. His obituarydoesn't list any wife or
children, only his brothers, so apparently he never married.

Irvin G Meyer 55, of 2411 Vliet St., Milwaukee, former resident of St. Anna, died at his home in Milwaukee Saturday. He was born April 7, 1904 near St. Anna in the Town of Russell, the son of the late Christian and Mary Ranz Meyer. He attended the St. Ann School and later attended the Barbers College in Milwaukee. For the past 20 years he operated his own barbershop at 2403 Vliet St., Milwaukee.
He is survived by three brothers, Arthur of New Holstein, Oscar of St. Anna and Edward of Sheboygan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.

Description | Im Jahr 1852 wanderten fast alle Einwohner des Ortes Allscheid/Eifel nach USA aus. Auf diesen merkwürdigen Umstand bin ich bei der (erfolgreichen) Suche nach den Vorfahren eines Amerikaners gestossen. Die vermutete Verwandschaft bestätigte sich zwar nicht, aber dennoch sind inzwischen viele Nachfahren dieser Allscheider Auswanderer zum Datenbestand hinzugekommen, so dass ich diesen hiermit zur Verfügung stellen möchte.
