Per Imm of Irish Quakers, A C Myers, p. 213 :"Again in 1737, Sadsburypreparative Meeting informs y John Musgrove Jun is married out of yUnity of friends (by y priest.) He was then expelled." Caleb was eldest Son and Heir. Caleb and Mary Musgrave was administrator. (This would be John Jr. 2ndwife) Orphan court - Mary an Orphan child being above the age of fourteenchuses Thomas Musgrave, her Uncle, as guardian. James Webb and Thomas Musgrave appointed guardians over Joseph, Sarah,Ann , and Lydia. (Approx.1753) Lydia married Samuel Read on 29 April 1761. Sadsbury Monthly Meetings. Per Immigration of the Irish Quakers, A C Myers, p 178:"About the sametime with the founding of the Hopewell settlement a branch of the samemigragiton moved from Maryland into Loudon and Fairfax counties, VA;thence to the southern counties of that colony; and by 1743 it hadgotten as far as Carver's Creek in Bladen County, NC. During the nexttwenty years Friends swarmed into the central sections of the latterstate and founded Cane Creek, New Garden and a large number of othermonthly meetings. About 1760, the movement was once more on its waysoutward, and by the time of the Revolution had spent itself in thefounding of a series of meetings in SC and GA. Among the Friends ofthe Carolinas we find the Starrs, McCools, Steers, Greggs, Musgraves,Sharps, Hobsons, Newlins, Hadlys, ..Coates, ...and many other familiesof Irish name, formely from PA."
