SO. ST. PAUL REPORTER, SEPTEMBER 3, 1953 (thursday) FUNERAL RITES HELD MONDAY FOR W. A. SCHLUSSLER Services for William A. Schlussler, who died Aug. 27, at the Rivervi hospital, at the age of 61, were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church, followed with interment in the General Lutheran Cem., His home was at 117 Ninth Street West. The deceased had been a construction worker with Meyer & Son, since he and his family moved here 18 years ago from St. Paul. He was born October 13, 1891 in Langdon, Minn. and attended school there. For some years he worked on a farm, and later for the state highway department. On July 15, 1920, he was married to Myrtle Long in Red Wing. Surviving are his wife, Myrtle. and five brothers and two sisters. They are Albert, James, Theodore, Mrs. William Zuehle and Mrs. Russell Stariah, all of this city, Thomas of West St. Paul, and Phill of Rosemount. Pallbearers were Donald Altmeyer, Albert Schultz, Harold Fisher, Barry Fuller, Carl Fuller and Harry Zeimes. Funeral arrangements were made by the Southern Funeral Home.
