Birth:
He was born in January 1760 in the small town Mikstat, which is near Ostrzeszow in the province Kalisz in Poland and baptised there on the 20th of that month. His parents were Pawel and Brygida Roszyk. (D1)

Childhood:
He grew up in Mikstat. When he was 15 years old, his father was the magistrate there. (D1)

Work:
In 1791 two lots of census were taken in Mikstat. In both the number of his house was 27. It was in the ul. Grabowska (Grabowska street). During one census he had an 18 years old male servant and a 28 years old and a 17 years old female servant living in his house. In the other census 20 years old male servant and a 22 years old female servant were living in his house. (D9)
In 1793, when he was 32 years old, Prussia annexed this part of Poland. From 1793 to 1806 Mikstat was a part of “Suedpreussen”. In 1795 a census was undertaken of the towns including “Mixtat”. Sebastian Roszykiewicz is listed as Sebastian Rozekowitz. He was a farmer, owned house (Feuerstelle) 29 and owned two horses and one cow. The area of his farm was 6 “Aussaat Berliner Scheffel”. (D8)
In the "Kanton Rolle" of 1795 he is described as an "Ackermann" and the owner of house 29. (D10)
In 1816 and 1818, when he was in his 50s, he was a town councillor in Mikstat. (D1)
In 1847 he was a baker. (D1)
In local church records he was described as Consularis in 1816, as Consul in 1818 and as Piekarz in 1847. He was addressed 15 times as Famatorum.

First Marriage:
He married the single Magdalena Pasiowna, who was also from Mikstat, on the 30th of January 1785 in the Sw. Trojcy church in Mikstat. (D1)

His first wife died in 1797. (D1)

Second Marriage:
He married the single Katarzyna (Latin: Catharina) Pazdykiewiczowna on the 6th of June 1797 in the Sw. Trojcy church in Mikstat. One of the witnesses was the town councillor Kazimierz (Latin: Casimirus) Marczynski. (D1)
They raised the family there. (D1)
His second wife died there on the 8th of September 1851. (D1)

Death:
He died of senile decay on the 21st of October 1847 in Mikstat. He was 87 years old. He was buried in the cemetery there. (D1)
