Birth:
He was born in January 1729 in Mikstat near Ostrzeszow in the Poznan region in Poland and baptised there on the 14th of that month. His parents were Wojciech and Zofia Roszyk. (D1)

He grew up in Mikstat. His father owned a farm there. (D1)
Work:
I do not know what he did most of his life. In 1775 and 1776 he was a town councillor in Mikstat. (D1)
In local church records he was described as Consulis in 1775. He was addressed 12 times as Famatorum. (D1)
First Marriage:
He married the single Brygida Ruchowna, who was also from Mikstat, on the 9th of February 1756 in the Sw. Trojcy church in Mikstat. (D1)
They lived in Mikstat. (D1)
His wife died in 1761. She was only 25 years old. (D1)
Second Marriage:
He married Katarzyna Stasierska in 1761 or 1762.
They raised a family in Mikstat. (D1)
The priest who worked in Mikstat in 1790, recorded in the church books that Katarzyna Roszyk suddenly fell ill in November 1790. Her illness only lasted 24 hours. In that time she said only a few rational words. She made all kinds of foolish remarks. She got a little better after the priest performed the last rites. She died soon after the rites were completed. She was 50 years old. She was buried in the cemetery in Mikstat between the church and the bell tower on the 16th of that month. (D1)

He died in Mikstat in August 1788. He was 59 years old. He was buried in the cemetery there on the 2nd of September of that year. (D1)
