Other Information:
1. The wedding is recorded in a church book in Mikstat. The entry was made in 1780, i.e. 40 years after the event.
2. There are two entries of Valentinus' baptism in a church book in Mikstat. They are in different hand writing from surrounding records. I thought that the entries may have been added to the church books later. But father L. Wilczynski, an archivist at the catholic archives in Poznan, wrote to me that different persons baptised. It states in one of the baptism records, that the priest who baptised Walenty had special permission from the parish priest.
3. The baptism record of Regina is written in the same hand writing as the preceding and following records.
4. A librarian did a check in 1996 whether there are any books that were written by Walenty (Valentinus) Lapczynski in US libraries. He checked the OCLC online catalogue, which includes the Library of Congress catalogue. He found no reference.
