She was born in the house of her mother's parents in the village Neu St. Jürgen (house no. 12) in the Worpswede parish near Osterholz-Scharmbeck in Lower Saxony in Germany on the 23rd of February 1841. Her mother was the then unmarried Thrine Ahlheid Grotheer. Her father, according to the parish's pastor, was the single Hinrich Lütjen from the village Friedensheim, which is in the nearby Hambergen parish. (C2)

Worpswede had 813 inhabitants in 1910. At that time it was an artist colony. Then it had a post office, a court, a registry, a Lutheran church, two bank branches, metal, timber, horse, leather, shoe and cattle markets, a furniture factory, a dairy and a flourmill. (A1)

When she was 27 years old, on the 8th of November 1868, she married the single Johann Kück from Friedensheim. He was born in Friedensheim on the 24th of December 1844. His parents were the farmer (German: Anbauer) Johann Kück and Catharina nee Renken. (C3)
He was also called Johann Hinrich Kück. He bought farm No. 31 in Bornreihe. He was a farmer (German: Anbauer). He could sign his name. (C5)

Two years later, on the 26th of September 1874, her husband married her half-sister Meta Stelljes. (C3)
Johann Kück is listed as the owner of farm No. 31 in Bornreihe in the 'Brandkataster' book of 1876. At that time there was one house and no other buildings on his property. Sometime before 1900 a 'Kaufmann' named Jacob Gotthelf from Osterholz-Scharmbeck inherited or bought the property.

Death:
She died at 12:45 p.m. on the 11th of May 1872 in Bornreihe of a kidney disease. She was only 31 years old. She was buried in the cemetery in Hambergen four days later. (C3)
