Other Information:
1. In the two Polish wedding records of Jan Rafalak of 1812, his brother-in-law is stated as Kaspar Lukasiewicz. The latter was 45 years old. In one of the Polish wedding records Marianna Rafalski nee Bartkow is called his mother ("matki"). The word "matki" is spread over two lines and is difficult to read. In the other Polish wedding record Marianna Rafalski nee Bartkow is called wife ("malzonki"). "Matki" is likely to be correct because all relationships in the document are expressed in terms of the groom and bride. Also, if Marianna was the wife of Kaspar Lukasziewicz, her name would be Marianna Lukasiewicz nee Bartkow or Marianna Lukasziewicz nee Rafalski.
2. Because Kaspar Lukasiewicz and Marianna Rafalak gave away the groom (Jan Rafalak) at the wedding, it is likely that the father of Jan Rafalak was already dead in 1812.
3. It is possible that Jan Rafalak was born in the Pustkowie Jarychy and not in Godziesze Wielkie.
