Birth:
He was born in January 1760 in the small town Mikstat, which is near Ostrzeszow in the province Kalisz in Poland and was baptised there on the 15th of that month. His parents were Grzegorz and Magdalena Mroz (also called Zimor). (D1)
His godfather was the mayor Jakub Fabrowski and his godmother was the town councillor's wife Katarzyna Lesmanska. (D1)

He grew up on his parents' farm in Mikstat. (D1)
Work:
In 1791 two lots of census were taken in Mikstat. In one the number of his house was 85 and in the other it was 86. It was in the ul. Poznanska (Poznanska street). There were no servants living in his house. (D9)
In 1792, when he was 32 years old, Prussia annexed this part of Poland. From 1792 to 1806 Mikstat was a part of “Suedpreussen”. In 1793 a census was undertaken of the towns including “Mixtat”. Pawel Zimorski is listed as Paul Szimorski. He owned house (Feuerstelle) 90. He did not own a farm nor had any farm animals. (D8)
In the "Kanton Rolle" of 1795, he was the owner of house 92. (D10)
In local church records he was addressed ten times as Famati and Famatorum.
Marriage:
He married the single Agnieszka Sieradzka, who was also from Mikstat, on the 1st of March 1791 in the Sw. Trojcy church in Mikstat. (D1)
They raised a family there. (D1)
Death:
He died in Mikstat on the 28th of July 1829. He had been suffering from "pain in his head". He was 69 years old. He was buried in the cemetery there. (D1)
