He was born in June 1778 in the small town Mikstat, which is near Ostrzeszow in the province Kalisz in Poland and baptised there on the 21st day of the same month. His parents were Karol and Katarzyna Stasierski. (D1)

He grew up in Mikstat. (D1)
In 1791 two lots of census were taken in Mikstat. Then he was living in his father’s house. He was 13 years old. In both census the house number was 2. In one census there was a 28 years old female servant living in the house. In the other census there were none. (D9)
Work:
He was a Rolnik most of his life. He was probably a farmer (he was once described as Possessiontor). When he was old, he was a baker. (D1)
In local church records he was described twice as a Rolnik, once as a Possessiontor and once, after his death, as a Piekarz. He was addressed seven times as Famati and Famatorum.
From 1807 until 1815 this area belonged to France (under Napoleon's reign) and from 1815 until 1919 it belonged to Prussia and Germany.
Marriage:
He married the 15 years old Marianna Biczyskowna, who was also from Mikstat, on the 15th of February 1801 in the Sw. Trojcy church in Mikstat. He was 22 years old. (D1)
They raised a family in Mikstat. (D1)
Death:
He died of senile decay on the 17th of December 1849 in Mikstat. He was 71 years old. He was buried in the cemetery there. (D1)
