Birth:
He was born in November 1751 in Mikstat near Ostrzeszow in the Poznan region in Poland and baptised there on the 3rd day of that month. His parents were Pawel and Jadwiga Stasierski. (D1)

In 1791 two lots of census were taken in Mikstat. The number of his house was 2 in one census and 3 in the other census. During one census a 28 year old female servant was living in his house. During the other census there were no servants. (D9)
In 1793, when he was 42 years old, Prussia annexed this part of Poland. From 1793 to 1806 Mikstat was a part of “Suedpreussen”. In 1795 a census was undertaken of the towns including “Mixtat”. Karol Stasierski is listed as Carl Starzerski. He was a farmer, owned house (Feuerstelle) 10 and owned two horses and one cow. The area of his farm was 6 “Aussaat Berliner Scheffel”. (D8)
In the "Kanton Rolle" of 1795 he is called an "Ackermann" and owned house 8. (D10)
In local church records he was called Consulis once and addressed seven times as Famatorum. (D1)
Marriage:
He married the single Katarzyna Wilczkowiczowna, who was also from Mikstat, on the 22nd of January 1775 in the Sw. Trojcy church in Mikstat. Two of the witnesses were the town councillor Jozef Pasikowski and the scribe Mateusz Szekpa. (D1)

Death:
He died in Mikstat in February 1824. He was 72 years old. He was buried in the cemetery there on the 16th day of that month. (D1)
