He was born on the 29th of November 1768 in the village Bockhorn in the Sulingen parish in Lower Saxony in Germany. His parents were Harm and Anna Margareta Mohrmann. (F1)

He grew up on his parents' farm in Bockhorn. (F1)
Hermann Günnemann from Sulingen wrote to me that it was farm Nr. 3 in Bockhorn. Anton Friedrich Mohrmann's older brother Johann inherited it later.
Work:
He was a cottager (German: Häusler and Heuerling). (F1)
Marriage:
He married the single Anna Ilse Margarete Hacken from the village Buchhorst, which is in the nearby Varrel parish, on the 30th of August 1799 in the Lutheran church in Sulingen. (F1)
They lived in Bockhorn for one or two years. Then they moved to the nearby Brünhausen village and raised a family there. (F1)
Death:
He died of asthma on the 29th of January 1839 in Brünhausen. He was 70 years old. He was buried in the cemetery in Sulingen four days later. (F1)

1. In 1900 Brünhausen belonged to the "Gemeinde" Lindern.
2. The Sulingen civic archive had no information of A. F. Mohrmann.
