1. The church registers of the period from 1756 to 1792 of the Lutheran church in Leeste were destroyed in a fire.
2. No children named Hollwedel were confirmed in the Lutheran church in Leeste between 1792 and 1804 inclusive; hence Johann Hinrich was probably their first child.
3. There was probably another Hollwedel family living in Leeste at this time. A Johann Hinrich Hollwedel and a Johann Hollwedel were confirmed in 1805.
4. It states in the Leeste burial record of the wife Margarethe of her son Johann Hinrich (on the 10/12/1846) that Johann Hinrich Hollwedel was born in Erichshoff in 1790.
