He was born about 1741 in Mikstat, which is near Ostrzeszow in the province Kalisz in Poland. His parents were Marcin and Teresa Golicki. (D1)

Work:
In 1791, 16 years after his death, two lots of census were taken in Mikstat. At that time the second husband of his widow was living in ul. Kosciolna (Kosciolna street). The number of the house was 102 in one census and 104 in the other. Perhaps this was Mikolaj Golicki’s house when he was alive. (D9)
In the Prussian census of 1795 the house number (Feuerstelle) was 107. (D8)
In the "Kanton Rolle" of 1795 the house was number 109. (D10)
He was addressed once as Spectabilis, once as Honestus and twice as Famatorum in local church records. (D1)
Marriage:
He married Agnieszka Bogumiel, who was also from Mikstat, on the 27th of January 1767 in the church in Mikstat. One of the witnesses was the town councillor Grzegorz Biczysk. (D1)

Death:
The parish priest who worked in Mikstat at that time wrote into the burial record of Mikolaj Golicki that he suffered from an illness for five days before he died. He was 34 years old. He was buried in front of the altar in the church in Mikstat on the 8th of September 1775. (D1)
