Obituary Daily Plainsman 12/20/1963 Funeral services for Emanuel Mehrer will be held at the ImmanuelLutheran Church Monday with the Rev. Gesterling officiating. Burialwill be in the Medicine Hill Cemetery in Harrold. Mehrer was born July 9, 1883 in Yankton County. He died Wednesday atthe Prairie Rest Home in Miller. He was preceded in death by his wife,Lydia, in June; one great grand daughter, his parents, four brothersand four sisters. Surviving are six daughters, Lea, Mrs. John Rothenberger, Harrold;Mrs. Laura Gramm, San Diego, Calif.; Alma, Mrs. Reynold Beuchler,Pierre; Tillie, Mrs. James Rawton, Lemon Grove, Calif.; Darline, Mrs.Lee Furgeson, San Diego, Calif.; Adeline, Mrs. Albert Rothenberger,Sioux Falls; three sons, Oscar, Phoenix, Ariz.; Leon and Elmer, bothof Harrold.
