Lord of Affeton Nicholas Stukeley Esq. was son and heir of Hugh Stukeley. He was born circa 1451 in Affeton, Devon, England. He was the son of Sheriff of Devon Hugh Stukeley and Katherine de Affeton. He was age 16 in 1467. He married Thomasine Cockworthye, daughter of John Cockworthye of Yarnscombe and Thomasine Chichester, before 24 June 1475; His 1st. Her 2nd (widow). He married Anne Pomeroy, daughter of Henry Pomeroy and Alice Raleigh, circa 1479 in England; His 2nd. Her 2nd. He held the manors of Preston, Halfhyde, and St. Mary Blandford in Dorsetshire, England. He held the manors of Trent and Chilton Cantelowe in Somersetshire, England. He held the manors of Affeton, East and West Worlington, Bradford Tracey, Huntshaw, and Mewshaw in Devon, England. He died on 27 May 1488 in England.
