Thomas STUCLEY

Sheriff of Devon Thomas Stuckley Knt. b. 24 June 1475, d. 30 January 1541/42 Sheriff of Devon Thomas Stuckley Knt. was the son and heir of Nicholas Stukeley. He was born on 24 June 1475 in Affeton, parish of West Worlington, Devon, England. He was the son of Lord of Affeton Nicholas Stukeley Esq. and Thomasine Cockworthye. He was age 4 at mother's inq.p.m. In 1477/78 in 17 Edward IV. He married Anne Wood, daughter of Thomas Wood and Margaret de la Mare, circa 1495 in Affeton, Devon, England. Sheriff of Devon in England, in 1520/21. He held manors of Affeton, East and West Worlington (both with advowsons), Mewshaw (with advowson), Bridgerule, Drayford, Huntshaw, Thelbridge (with advowson), Studleigh, Bradford Tracey, and Pyllaven in Devon, England. He died on 30 January 1541/42 in Affeton, Devon, England, at age 66 years, 7 months and 6 days.
