Clarence F. Keip Clarence F. Keip, 82, of 740 18th Ave. S., Wisconsin Rapids, died Friday afternoon, Oct. 8, 2004, at Riverview Hospital. Private family services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Taylor Funeral Home. William Loock will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, with military rites provided by American Legion Post No. 9. Clarence was born March 21, 1922, in Port Edwards to Charles and Bertha (Griesbach) Keip. He married Gertrude Leverance on Sept. 4, 1948 at Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. He served his country in World War II from 1942 to 1946 in the European Theater. He was employed by Consolidated Papers for 43 years, retiring in 1984. Clarence was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Gertrude of Wisconsin Rapids; one son, Frederick (Marian) Keip of Franksville; two daughters, Susan (Robert) McIlraith of Oshkosh and Bonnie Keip (fianc? Reche House) of Sun Prairie; three granddaughters, Alyssa Homewood and Erin and Devyn McIlraith. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, David; one brother, Karl; four sisters, Erna, Leona, Marie and Edna. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Immanuel Lutheran Church. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again
