Lifelong Resident of Shelby County Dies Sun. Morning
Funeral Rites for Mrs. Rose Ellen Brockman Arranged for WednesdayAfternoon.
Mrs. Rose Ellen Brockmann, 66, lifelong resdient of Shelby county,died at the Brockman home at No. 113 south Walnut avenue Sunday morningat 6:50 o'clock after an eight weeks' illness from a heart condition.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clockfrom the Cromes-Wiessinger funeral home with the Rev. R. Wobus incharge. Buriel will be in Pearl cemetery in Swanders.
Mrs. Brockman was born at Anna September 11, 1873, the daughter ofJames and Jane Hansel Keplinger. She was united in marriage the firsttime to George Lenhart, and two daughters survive by this marriage, Mrs.Oscar Milhouse, of Sidney, and Mrs. Earl Kiser, of Tippecanoe. she wasmarried to Fred Brockman May 6, 1896, and he is left to mourn her passing.
Mrs. Carl Barker, of Sidney; Mrs. Paul Sailor, of Jackson Center;Mrs. Charles Bower and Bill Brockmann of Sidney, are children left tomourn her passing with Mrs. Milhouse and Mrs. Kiser.
One sister, Miss Dorothy Keplinger preceded her in death, passingaway 12 years ago. One brother, C. H. Keplinger, passed away 10 yearsago. Mrs. Lillian Faler, of Jackson township, and Mrs. Jennie Chambers,of Sidney are the surviving sisters.
A member of St. Paul's Evangelical church, Mrs. Brockmann lived herentire life in and around Sidney. She lived 10 years on a farm inJackson township, and later came to Sidney to make her home.
Friends may call at the late home any time Monday evening andTuesday afternoon and evening up until noon Wednesday. NOTE: THEOBITUARY IS INACCURATE. IT SHOULD READ THAT DOROTHY BROCKMANN (NOTKEPLINGER), HER DAUGHTER, AND A SISTER, MRS. ANNA FOGT, PRECEDED HER INDEATH.
