Asa B. "Bud" BROCKMAN

1. Was of Ray co., MO in 1904.

2. He was a farmer in 1910 and a coal miner in 1920.

3. The 1930 census is a bit confusing for this family:

Brockman, A. C. F W 56 wd MO KY KY

Guthrie M W 37 div MO MO MO caretaker poultry house

Granville M W 35 MO MO MO none

Herman M W 15 MO MO MO none

In this census A.C. Brockman was identified as a female and obviously

was living at the time of the enumeration. Asa B. had already passed

away three years prior to the census....so, who was A.C. Brockman?

4. Copied from The Richmond News, 14 Sep 1927:

"Death of A.B. Brockman. A.B. Brockman, of Camden, died Monday.

Besides the widow, he is survived by three sons: Granville and Herman,

both of the home and Guthrie of Kansas City and one daughter, Mrs. Omar

Yallally of Camden. He was buried in the East Camden Cemetery."
