George Seagert died on Friday morning at his home on West Ave., aged 75 years. He was born in Bennington, and had lived since a child in the village of Attica. Fifty-five years ago he was united in marriage to Mary George of Sheldon, who surviveshim together with three sons, George of Pittsburgh, John of Lockhaven, Pa., and George of Attica; five daughters, Mrs. Charles Cooney of Alden, Mrs. R. A. McPhee of Greenwich, Conn., Mrs. Roy Allen and Miss Clare Seagert of Buffalo, Miss Ann Seagert of Attica.
Mr. Seagert has been widely known among the farmers though out Wyoming County, having owned and operated a threshing outfit for over 50 years. He retired last year because of failing health.
