Junction City Pair Mark Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kosloski, residents of Junction City, observed their golden wedding anniversary Saturday, April 23 with an afternoon reception, buffet dinner and an evening of visiting and dancing at St. Michael's Parish Hall in Junction City.

Mr. and Mrs. Kosloski renewed their vows on April 6, 50 years after the original ceremony on April 6, 1910, at St. Michael's Parsonage at Junction City.

The former Gusta Bernhagen was attended at her marriage by her sister, Miss Minnie Bernhagen, now Mrs. Barney Berg of Junction City, and the bridegroom's sister, Miss Lena Kosloski, now Mrs. Frank Spreda of Stevens Point, while Mrs. Koslowski's attendants were his brother, Mike Kosloski and Jake Wayerski, both of Junction City area. All but Mike Kosloski, deceased, were present for Saturday's observance. Another brother, Frank Kosloski of Tomahawk, substituted Saturday for the deceased brother at the bridal table.

For the golden occasion Mrs. Kosloski wore a lime green dress of silk shantung, a flowered beige hat and a corsage of white carnations with gold leaves and ribbons. Mrs. Berg was attired in navy blue, while Mrs. Spreda wore French blue. Both wore corsages of white carnations and gold ribbon. The men of the party wore boutonnieres of white carnations and gold leaves. Members of the immediate family likewise wore corsages or boutonnieres of white carnations with gold ribbon and gold leaves.

A large white wedding cake, edged in gold, vases of yellow mums and white tapers with gold leaves were on the tables.

Mr. and Mrs. Kosloski, farmers in the Town of Eau Pleine for many years, are the parents of a son, Donald, also a resident of Junction City. They have three grandchildren, Kenneth, Margaret and Michael Kosloski.

Mr. Kosloski was born in Junction City while Mrs. Kosloski was born in Oconomowoc, and came to Junction City with her parents in the early 1900's. The couple have lived in this area most of their married life.
